Always ask yourself this question before taking a shot: how can I improve on this, and make it my own shot?

Remember that the longer the zoom, usually the resulting effect more pleasant, and helps bring the background closer to your foreground subject.

Lens distortion can be good or bad depending on how you hold your phone

The way you hold your phone can make your subject look short or amazingly tall. Use the lens distortion (especially on the 0.5X) to great effect!

Make your photos look more 3D by employing the 3 factors.

Make use of Live Photo mode if you're using iPhone, and set the resulting photo to Long Exposure for marvelous waterfall shots!

Watch out for the angle of your main light, and shoot diagonally

Always be on the look out for where your main light source is coming from, and try and position yourself at an angle (diagonal, for example) for great lighting effect
